LTSC is similar to Microsoft’s update model for Windows 7, and major system service updates are likely to arrive every two to three years. It has a five-year support phase and then a five-year support phase, so which organizations are used and what do they usually want. Microsoft, however, recommends that organizations use the annual Windows 10 Semester (ACA) model.
Microsoft only recommends the LTSC model for use with items such as medical devices that do not tolerate frequent changes. Only for devices that use an embedded operating system.
