The free web version of Microsoft OfficeOffice Online is the web version of the popular Microsoft Office productivity suite. While not as comprehensive as its counterpart, it is still a very useful document management tool, but there are three main programs available in Office Online: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. You can use them to work with text documents, spreadsheets, and presentations just like in Office. You probably don’t have as many tools and options as in standard Office, but at the bottom you can work with your documents anywhere, whenever you have internet (function () {(‘review – ) app-page- desktop ‘);}); The three programs included with Office Online have an interface similar to the desktop programs and are self-explanatory. In addition to creating and editing documents on the web, you can also download files to your computer, share them via a link, and download files from your hard drive. For the latter, Office Online offers up to 25GB of free SkyDrive storage, Office Online may be a discontinued version of the original productivity suite, but it works great as a web-based tool for management and daily editing of documents. Online is the perfect companion for web editing of documents, spreadsheets and presentations.
